This is Tina Wilson. She went missing from the Central Ohio area about 3 years ago. Because Pagan Nation was founded in Columbus, OH we retain many members in the Columbus, Ohio area and believe it is likely Tina Wilson attended events hosted by Pagan Nation as she was a frequent customer of the pagan shop which once hosted our servers. So we are hoping one of our members might have information which could help police find this woman.
On a sad note: Aimee and Aimee Drew not only recall her but believe she was the young lady who accompanied a disturbed man who openly discussed his involvement in murders related to Wicca. They did notify the police at the time and again when Tina Wilson was first noted as missing, but it is unclear if police were able to use that information to their benefit. Perhaps they can use your information.
If you know anything that might help, please do your civic duty and help find police help our community.

Muslims Outnumber World's Catholics By ALESSANDRA RIZZO, AP
VATICAN CITY (March 30) - Islam has surpassed Roman Catholicism as the world's largest religion, the Vatican newspaper said Sunday.
"For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us," Monsignor Vittorio Formenti said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. Formenti compiles the Vatican's yearbook.
He said that Catholics accounted for 17.4 percent of the world population — a stable percentage — while Muslims were at 19.2 percent.
"It is true that while Muslim families, as is well known, continue to make a lot of children, Christian ones on the contrary tend to have fewer and fewer," the monsignor said.

St. Lawrence University's Herring-Cole Library (Canton, NY) was host to a modern pagan celebration of Ostara this past Sunday, March 23rd, a day known to most of the Western World as Easter Sunday. With drumming and dancing, they celebrated balance on the day when the day and night are roughly equal in length.
"Spiritually, it's between me and the universe," said Derek S. Habermas, a math professor and practicing pagan from SUNY Potsdam. "But it's great to share that kind of thing with the community." Read the full story at the Watertown Daily News

Do Vikings shave in Valhalla?
Movies and popular fiction have given us the impression that when Viking’s died, their wealth was put to death with them. Perhaps placed upon a ship, set ablaze, and sailed off to find its new home in Valhalla. It seems odd that a culture of people who in other matters were tremendously dedicated to the family line would stiff (pardon the pun) their heirs upon their death. Well, it looks like popular fiction may be wrong.
According to Dr Howard Williams, the ordinary view is based on extraordinary finds. Rare discoveries which were sensationalized because of the wealth involved. He claims that what was of major concern in funeral rites was the inclusion of every day items such as razors, tweezers and hair brushes.

Bleeding Kansas, by Sara Paretsky, is a work of fiction which details life in the bible belt. Although the book is categorized as fiction, it might better be listed as social commentary. The author found her motivation while helping her mother and father to sell their home to a lesbian Wiccan couple. The couple had hoped to live a quite life, believing they could avoid persecution because their nearest neighbors were a quarter mile away.
"But they were wrong. There was talk of pagan rituals. Some people said they were naked and one neighbour[SIC] started pursuing them in a really angry way, and my brother, who was a lawyer, decided to represent them on a pro bono basis.”
